With the driver's door open, pull the lever under
the inst
Pull the hood down until the pressure from the
struts is reduced.
Let the hood drop down and latch in place. Do
not try to push it shut; it may fail to engage.

- Remove the front luggage compartment floor. Refer to
→ Chapter "Luggage Compartment Floor, Removing and Installing,
Non-Hybrid Vehicles".
- Remove the dirt shield, if applicable.
- Remove the tie
