Releasing the engine hood
The engine hood is released from inside the vehicle.

With the driver's door open, pull the lever under
the inst
Pull the hood down until the pressure from the
struts is reduced.
Let the hood drop down and latch in place. Do
not try to push it shut; it may fail to engage.

Remove the left trim panel in the luggage compartment.
Open the Velcro strap and remove the compressor

Unscrew the valve stem from the spare tire.
Screw the tire filler hose from
