With the driver's door open, pull the lever under
the inst
Pull the hood down until the pressure from the
struts is reduced.
Let the hood drop down and latch in place. Do
not try to push it shut; it may fail to engage.

- Remove the driver side airbag. Refer to
→ Chapter "Airbag Unit

- Press the outer door seal to the side and remove the cover
over the hole -arrow A-.
- Remove the clamping screw -4-
all the way using a screwdriver -1-.
- Press the lock cylinder retaining bracket
