Releasing the engine hood

With the driver's door open, pull the lever under
the inst
Pull the hood down until the pressure from the
struts is reduced.
Let the hood drop down and latch in place. Do
not try to push it shut; it may fail to engage.

Switching on
The cruise control system makes it possible to
drive at a constant speed starting at 20 mph (30
km/h).

Pull the Lever to position 1 > fig. 108 to
switch the system on.
Drive at the speed to be controlled.

- Disconnect the connector on the A-pillar. Refer to
→ Electrical Equipment; Rep. Gr.97; Connectors.
- Remove the door arrester bolt -2-.
