Note
In vehicles with lane assist, the camera must be recalibrated after
replacing the windshield. Refer to

1 - Hood
A second technician is needed to support and hold the hood during
removal and installation.
Removing:
Remove the gas-filled strut from the hood. Refer to
→ Chapter "Overview - Gas-Filled Strut".
Remove the nuts -4- from the upper hood
hinge.
Remove the hood.
Overview - Bulkhead
1 - Seal
Install the seal from underneath.
2 - Lock Washer
When installing, simply press the plenum chamber bulkhead onto the
threaded pins.
3 - Nut
4 Nm
4 - Bolt
7 Nm
