Axle Alignment Information
Wheel alignment must only performed using VW/Audi-approved
wheel alignment equipment.
Each time wheels are aligned, both front and rear wheels
must be aligned.

Separating Points
Lines to hydraulic assembly
- Tighten hex collar nuts -1-
through -4- to 14 Nm.
- Tighten hex collar nuts -5- and
-6- to 14 Nm.
Brake hose on brake caliper to front axle
- Item -1- brake hose, ensure
retaining tabs are seated correctly in bracket.
- Item -2-
Removing
- Remove the brake caliper with the brake pads and brake
carrier. Refer to
→ Chapter "Brake Caliper, Removing and Installing".
Caution
Do not actuate the brakes or the electromechanical
parking brake when the brake caliper is removed.
