- Lower the door window.
- Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to
→ Chapter "Rear Door Trim Panel, Removing and Installing".
- Versions with a sun shade: Remove the sunshade mounts

- Disconnect the connector on the A-pillar. Refer to

- Remove the door arrester bolt -2-.

-3- from the stud bolts.
